ULES is finding its way back into the life and conduct of engineering students. Many of us have little or no knowledge about the whole ULES thing. but I am happy.I am happy that finally, we, engineering students can now govern ourselves. our opinion can now matter and count. we can now have a voice of our own, speak of our own and be heard by everyone.

I am happy that finally we have achieved our political emancipation. Thank God Mother Unionism has taken us back into her bosom and we that were formerly regarded as outlaws, desperados and hooligans have now been given the rare privilege of ruling ourselves.

As the election draws closer, I want us to make up our minds to put into place intelligent and disciplined leaders who will dig out the trenches of violence and corruption and rebuild a Society of our dreams-that in which every student, both male and female, scholars and non-scholars, will be able to walk tall without fears in their hearts and assured of their inalienable right to human dignity-  a society driven by diligence, spiritual consciousness and a sense of common purpose.

I am happy to witness this so great a human achivement Tongue
